Flawless Emily

June 6, 2009 at 11:10am

graves are dug across the skin
marring all chance of forgiveness
the flowers fade
and a separation occurs

the boy in misunderstanding
lives flawless

graves cannot be filled
by revelation

revelation becomes the thorn
roses crawl up the corpse of
the child that was

entrapping her in a tomb
of blossoming beauty

in life
she will never escape

spoiled flesh only glances
his nostrils

until by the power invested in death

they crash into each other

finally a perfect pair
surviorship becomes
the real murder

forgiveness was never possible
her grave was dug

that day in the mensroom.
